  • Maintain a soil temperature of 70-75°F (21-24°C) for optimal germination, which typically takes 5-10 days.
  • Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged during the germination period.
  • Once seedlings have 2-3 sets of true leaves, transplant them outdoors, ensuring they are spaced adequately for proper air circulation.
  • If sowing directly outdoors, thin seedlings to the recommended spacing once they are a few inches tall.
