Evergreen bunching onions are cold hardy, easy to grow, and have a sweet, delicate flavor when picked young. Great eaten raw or used in specialty cooked dishes. Tolerates hot weather well. For longer white bulbs, hill the earth around the onions.
Start indoors 5 weeks before last frost date or direct sow ¼” deep in early spring. Keep moist until established. Thin to 1" apart when 2" high. Sow new crop every 3 to 4 weeks from March. Late sowings will over-winter.
